Identity MaskBeing in a generation with social media is frightening. To be accepted in our society, you have to participate in the “norms,” which are the unfair and fair expectations that society puts on us. The norms for girls in society are perfect hair, perfect body, a tight outfit, and all that is involved with appearance. If you have all these things, you might just be accepted. The forces of socialization push us to change ourselves in order to fit in and be popular. |
This I BelieveMost people follow the style trends, wearing name brands all looking the same. But I know now that materialistic things don’t define us or make us who we are. Materials matters, do you agree? I believe that nothing truly matters and life is about the experience. We have a timeline of life, that is one end to another so, why care about materialistic things? |
